PORT CITY-LINK

Relations between the Port and the City, means a permanent framework for management because they represent both mutual benefits due to part of their routine operation and growth are in the same territory.

The Port of Topolobampo conducts ongoing efforts within the Port-City Link Program, referred within the objectives of its Master Plan.

It is important to manage the port-city integration under a complementary scenario in addition to being an efficiency indicator of its role as promoter of local and regional development.

To ensure a reasonably and accurate approach on how to integrate these trusted relationships between the Port and the City, it is pertinent to note closer the way that they originate and how arrive at the conditions as currently presented.

Derived from the analysis of statistical information that was obtained from the Topolobampo population, they perceived positively to the Topolobampo Port by 62% while the Los Mochis population 60%.

Among the actions undertaken include:

1.-	Participation in the construction of 300 linear meters of the Topolobampo Tourist Malecon
2.-	The construction of the Pedestrian Walker "Cerro del Chivero"
3.-	The Construction of the Square "Puerta de Mexico: Pacifico Norte".
4.-	Guided tours by Topolobampo Port Staff, to all kind of education levels students .
5.-	Donation of materials to schools in the Topolobampo Port.
6.-	Maintenance of gardens located in the Port access.
7.-	Cleaning of the highway Mochis - Topolobampo, by Topolobampo Port Staff.
